It is an authentic Patagonian house, rustic and welcoming, with traditional architecture and a classic larch shingle roof that gives it a strong sense of identity and character. The spaces are spacious and filled with natural light, with warm wooden interiors that create a calm and inviting atmosphere. The décor blends modern elements with tradition in a balanced way, incorporating historical objects connected to the city, skiing, and the life of its Patagonian inhabitants. The location is convenient and offers beautiful lake views, along with access to a large shared garden that connects seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Close to beaches and with easy access to public transportation, the house is a comfortable and peaceful base for exploring Bariloche, combining rest, nature, and impressive landscapes from the very first moment.
My name is Magdalena, and I was born in Bariloche, surrounded by mountains, forests, and lakes. This landscape is part of my everyday life and shapes the way I understand time, rest, and my relationship with nature. Growing up in this environment influenced how I inhabit spaces and how I value simplicity, care, and authenticity. I especially enjoy the mountains and being close to the natural surroundings. Taking care of the garden and the plants is one of my favorite activities, a calm and steady task that accompanies the life of the house. That same care is reflected in every detail of the place, designed to make each stay comfortable and harmonious. This is our family home and also our small venture, a project we dedicate a great deal of effort and care to. We look after it with attention and warmth, hoping that those who stay here can enjoy an authentic and memorable experience. We are always available to support your stay, answer questions, and share recommendations about trekking, local activities, where to eat, how to get around, or renting a car, so that each visit feels easy, well cared for, and welcoming.
The neighborhood is residential and quiet, chosen by those who want to rest without being too far from the city’s main points of interest. It is a pleasant area for walking, with a well-kept environment and a calm pace. Next to the house there is a restaurant, so at certain times some music can be heard, a detail that adds life to the surroundings without affecting the overall peaceful atmosphere. The location is very convenient. It is close to lake access points, ideal for enjoying the shoreline and the scenery, and just a few minutes from the Cerro Otto cable car, one of Bariloche’s classic attractions. The city center is about 5 km away, with easy access by car or public transportation. This combination of tranquility, proximity to nature, and good connection to local attractions is one of the aspects most appreciated by guests.
