From there, several hiking trails lead to other nearby lakes or into the mountains. The cycling path runs in the immediate vicinity. The bus stop is 200 meters away, and the Schaftenau train station is 2 km away. A parking space is available directly next to the house. The ski area "Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser" can be reached by car in about 15-20 minutes. The ski area Wildschönau and Alpbachtal can be reached after about a 30-minute drive.
