The location is unbeatable. At the top of Hexwessen gondola and truly a ski in and out accommodation. The views were phenomenal, as were the meals and the staff. The owner took personal interest that each of his guests needs were being met.

Warm and welcoming staff both in reception and especially in restaurant. Very good SPA and pool facilities. They have 3 different saunas and steam room, lots of loungers to chill, free tea, and juices at the spa area. Comfortable beds in the room. I guess it is individual choice, but for our family during ski holidays, there are 2 main important points. Good SPA, especially if it has a good pool. Comfortable bed is a must. All other things like room design is secondary things.

The scenery is breathtaking.

The scenery is breathtaking. The free bus that runs between the villages is really good. Whilst Soll isn't a large village/town, the free bus service means that your access is across four villages at no extra cost. Soll has plenty places to eat and drink and the gondola pass allows access to a wonderful high-level walk between Scheffau and Elmau. in the summer, there is a food, drink and local goods festival each Wednesday in Soll, and on Fridays, each restaurant and hotel provides live, outdoor music entertainment.

It was our first time to Söll but we have fallen in love...

It was our first time to Söll but we have fallen in love with it! The town is friendly, active, but still has a relaxed feel about it and it has everything you need. The access to the mountains is perfect and we will definitely be back!

The town of Soll is nice with some pedestrian streets and...

The town of Soll is nice with some pedestrian streets and lovely traditional buildings. The people in the shops restaurants are bars were very friendly. The resort is clean. Good ski bus service. We were there in the middle of February. The snow was very cut up in the afternoon. However this is due to weather conditions. Morning skiing was good.

Lovely village with great restaurants and friendly couple of...

Lovely village with great restaurants and friendly couple of bars. The ski shop staff are very professional and helpful with pleasant demeanours, all speak perfect english as well which is a bonus. The resort retains its charm and in my opinion is better than staying in Kitzbuhel. The Ski welt area is excellent for all skier levels, and the vast majority of the lifts are modern and fast and the mountain restaurants are high quality and well priced.

Söll is a really lovely Alpine Village/Town with plenty of...

Söll is a really lovely Alpine Village/Town with plenty of Restaurants and a few Bars. I found though that the Restaurants on the main are very high end and can be quite expensive, even if you just want something simple. The Irish Bar was our main evening haunt and some nights they had music and the craic was absolutely 90, great, friendly and very helpful staff and did some very good pub grub Pizza etc. Great spot. Now.... when will Austria realise that their Banks are crippling their businesses as most of the establishments only take cash and dont accept Card Payments, which all Europe is moving to, I understand the businesses not offering this as they are crippled by Bank Charges, I say, move your bank to one that is reasonable and punch back. When you go to the bank to get the cash the tourist then has to pay these ridiculous charges. Sort it Austria, a country I love to visit and have done for many years.

We travelled to meet family.

We travelled to meet family. We were taken to local restaurants which were varied and of an excellent standard selling both traditional food and usual menu items. Good local supermarkets with a wide variety of provisions, good transport links locally. Mountains accessible from nearby gondola stations. Visited in the Summer. Would now like to visit in the winter.

This hotel were surprise already from kilometres before, when it became visible - it looked like cruise ship with many lights. Halloween was celebrated there already and in best and most memorable way and whole hotel was following Halloween concept. And it was not some spiders and pumpkins in the corner - this was full house story and was incredible! Good choice anytime over the seasons!

I had a wonderful extended ski weekend at Hotel AlpenSchlössl. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and the hotel was spotless throughout my stay. I also appreciated the great location — the ski bus stopped right in front of the hotel, making access to the slopes very easy. A perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable ski getaway. Highly recommended!

The location is directly at the ski lift, perfect for a great vacation. After 4 pm you are alone in the mountain and there is nothing around. Going to Söll takes around 25 minutes in a small road so you don't want to doit so often. The best recommendation is to buy everything before going to the apartments and then cooking there every night
