Danube Gardens offers two apartments close to the city centre that offer the perfect ambience to relax after the hustle and bustle of exploring the town. The property is within walking distance of the United Nations, the Austria Center and Vienna’s major summer attractions, notably the Danube River, the Danube Park, the Donau Tower, that offers spectacular views of the city and the Prater amusement park. A ten-to-fifteen-minute walk will bring you to two of Vienna’s main subway lines, the U1 whisking you to the centre of town in minutes and the U6 which circles the inner city. Even closer, only four minute’s walk is the “Hop On Hop Off” bus stop, in my opinion the best way to get an idea of any city. There are two separate apartments, the first is a cosy, self contained studio style one room apartment with an en-suite bathroom and a small kitchen and includes a small, private terrace area. The second apartment is a spacious maisonette with a bedroom downstairs including an en-suite bathroom and direct access to a private terrace and the shared garden. The stairs take the guest to the living area, an open plan kitchen, ding and living room with two terraces and a WC. Both apartments have separate entrances and private terrace areas. To the rear of the property is a shared garden space where, depending on the time of year, you may find different varieties of fruit and vegetables.

As a professional photographer and videographer, Andy has travelled the world, giving him a certain inside knowledge when it comes to hosting others and the little details that guests will appreciate. Brigitte is dedicated to César, our Golden Retriever, a qualified therapy dog. He loves meeting new people and treats and belly rubs and more treats and more belly rubs and old friends and treats. Between the three of them they will ensure your stay in Vienna will be a memorable one.

Having a huge river close by gives us a few degrees of advantage the whole year round. In summer it is slightly cooler than the inner city and in winter the air temperature remains a touch warmer than the surrounding areas. Ours is a very quiet neighbourhood, you can wander safely in the evening to experience one the many nearby restaurants that suit most culinary tastes, there is weekend nightlife on the Danube, recreational water sports to your hearts content in summer and some of Vienna‘s exceptional vineyards a short drive away.
