Welcome to Larix Apartment - Your Lungau Home! Three bedrooms. Two bathrooms. Extra toilet. Large living-dining room. Large dining table. Cozy corner couch. Two TVs with cable. Bluetooth box. Fully equipped kitchen. Washing dryer. Two balconies - one facing south with a view of the mixed larch forest. High quality equipment after complete renovation in 2022. Ideal room layout for two families or three couples.
The larch with its botanical name Larix is the namesake of our accommodation. But why actually? Because it magically attracts our gaze when the view from the balcony wanders over the forest behind the house. In spring it is lush green, in autumn it glows yellow and in winter it fascinates with bare branches decorated with small buds and cones. As versatile as the larch is also our vacation apartment, which has something special to offer in every season. Due to the geographical location south of the Tauern massif, there are 300 sunny days a year and at over 1,000 m above sea level a clear night sky, which is one of the darkest in Central Europe.
Tamsweg with its cute market place, the small and fine stores and the varied gastronomy is only 5 minutes away by car. Skiing, ski touring, hiking or biking vacations in untouched nature. Skiing areas: Aineck/Katschberg, Grosseck-Speiereck, Fanningberg, Obertauern and Turrach. Ideal location starting point for exploring the UNESCO Biosphere Park Salzburg Lungau and Nature Park Sölktaler.
