Haus "Maria" is located at the foot of the beautiful Wilder Kaiser mountain range in the valley running between Wörgl and St. Johann in Tirol. Back in the 1970s, Maria Feyersinger welcomed guests to our house. In those days, it was just bed and breakfast, and over ten years ago, the first floor was turned into one cosy, partly renovated apartment with a spacious open kitchen ajoining the sitting room. When you get up in the morning, you can enjoy the outstanding view of the mountains from your window. So, it could be a good location to start your hiking adventure directly from our apartment. Take a short walk up the hill behind the house, you will find a stunning view overlooking Ellmau. Just a few minutes walk away, and you will also find direct access to the cross crounty ski track or the Skibus that takes you to the cable car in winter. In summer and winter, it only takes 15 min. to walk over the fields to the child friendly swimming pool "Kaiserbad" with indoor and outdoor facilities. The hiking bus in summer also leaves from the same spot as in winter. So you can hop onto the bus and explore the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser either - in summer or winter - in a most convenient way. When you get back from your day out, you can relax on our South facing balconies with an awesome view towards the Hartkaiser. We also have a big garden with a small playground, including swings, a sand pit, a slide, and a trampoline. It never gets boring in Ellmau - whether in summer or winter. There is parking for up to two cars in front of the house.
