Company info
We are Gert van der Leij en Inge Niesse. We live in Amsterdam in the Netherlands with our dog Nelson. We manage all things through internet and email so that the apartments are all self-service and self-catering for our guests. In Russbach we have a housemanager Monika who is available for the guests when they need assistance. Monika will also arrange all cleaning and is contactperson for the guests. Of course Gert, Inge and Monika are can always be reached by telephone! When you book an apartment at Haus Van der Leij you will be provided with all the necessary information.
Property info
The apartment house is built in 2014. All apartments are luxury, there is nice living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a big bathroom. We provide towels and bedlinnen for the guests. All apartments have a great view at the mountains and guests can use the general garden, sun terrace and bbq-facility. In winter our guests can use the heated ski-cellar and the are provided with a free ski-box near the ski-lift. From our house it is a 5 minute walk to the ski-lift Hornbahn.
We find it very important that the apartments are very clean so all guests feel like they are the first customers.
The entrance to the building and your apartment is arranged with electronic code keys. So check-in is very easy anytime you want from 3 pm on arrival day. You don't have to worry about your key!
We also consider the environment. We use solar-energy to heat up the building and the water for the showers and we separate the waste so it can be recycled. We hope you enjoy your stay at Haus Van der Leij!
Neighborhood info
Russbach am Pass Gschutt is a wonderful quiet town near Dachstein West in Salzburgerland. In winter it is perfect for skiing. The ski-area is very family-friendly and has 140 km of ski-slopes of which 122 km has artificial snow-facilities. In sommer there are plenty of outdoor activities possible in the neighbourhood. Think of hiking, mountainbiking, kayaking, klettersteig, tennis etc. In the village there are several restaurants, a tourist information, a supermarket and a very nice swimmingpool. With the Russbacher dorfcard you will have several benefits. Ask your dorfcard at the tourist information office just around the corner.
Haus Van der Leij is also a good starting point to visit several places of interest. Salzburg is 45 min. drive and the world heritage city of Hallstatt is only 13 km away. Also Krippenstein Gletscher area is 15 km away.
