Our apartments are located in a 2-family house right in the center of Abtenau. In the greater apartment on the ground floor, on about 110m ², it can be excellently holiday; spacious facilities. You have a fantastic view of the Tennengebirge. Good equipped kitchen, bathroom with towels, Wc, tiled stove, entrance hall with comfortable seating, dining room, large living room with TV and another bed for 2 persons. In our smaller apartment in the basement (souterrain), on about 85m² it can be comfortably holiday, especially if you are traveling during the day and in the evening have a cozy place and spacious facilities. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with towels, Wc (over the corridor), large kitchen with dining table, sofa, TV. For a large family is therefore enough space in our house; all could come together for a meal at the round dining table in the ground floor apartment.
The rental for holiday guests has a long tradition in our family and the well-being of our guests is very important to us. From the former B&B, run by our grandma, have now come up with two wonderful apartments. Cosiness is to make our guests a "homecoming" on vacation. We start from our own high standard; we love to live in a well-kept atmosphere. In the summer, the living space through the more than 1000 m² large well-kept garden, the relax, soul, barbecue or play invites you to expand. Here also many animals find shelter. In addition to our house-cat Shiva and our rabbit Speedy, numerous other animals (songbirds, hedgehogs, squirrels and also deers) are among our garden. In Reitgut Lammertal, 5 km away, our Friesian Mare Tabea has its center of life.
Round hiking trails invite in summer and in winter for long walks. In the Au, you can reach the two waterfalls, Dachser and Trickl, via various „power spots“. In the Au are also the Kneippanlage and the Heimatmuseum (local history). In our mountains you can ski in winter and hike in summer. Cozy mountain huts and guesthouses offer all kinds of delights from the region. For cross-country skiers, Abtenau offers extensive cross-country ski trails, right across the untouched winter landscape; these can also be explored by horse-drawn sleigh. In the middle of the village Abtenau offers a skating rink, which can be used free of charge with the guest card. In summer, the adventure pool, the summer toboggan run and the miniature golf course make for fun. The Abtenau Postalmgebiet, the second largest alpine area in Europe, is worth a visit, both in winter and in summer. In summer and at easter a great cultural and artistic highlight is the Salzburg Festival. And in autumn the traditional HEUART FEST. Also culinary offers the environment a lot, we have a few insider tips ready for you.
