The Steinerhof is a warm and welcoming guesthouse and working farm with a horse stud and is also one of the few distillers of the famous Krautinger Schnapps. The Steinerhof is located at the entrance to the village of Oberau (935m) in the heart of the Wildschönau, a high valley surrounded by the Kitzbüheler Alps. Outside the front door are walking paths, cross country skiing tracks, a bus stop which is served by the public buses as well as the ski bus service in winter and is 100m from the Riedl ski lift. Traditionally furnished family rooms with en suite facilities, three well appointed public rooms and a large play area outside are available to guests. Of special note is that home grown vegetables, eggs and meat from the farm are all used in the preparation of meals.
