Due to the peaceful and quiet surroundings of the property, its positioning on a hill with views over the valley and the fresh air, you will be especially tired the first evenings - and be able to recover completely from daily stress. An experience we have been told from many guests and that we experience ourselves, whenever we are in this mountain environment.
After your booking you will be in contact directly with the property owners. We are a Austrian-German Family and rent our house to guests, whenever we do not need it ourselves.
The Achen Lake is often called the Tyrolean Fjord. After your booking we will send you a fourty page persolized guide book, with activities in the region, based on our own experience and the feedback of our guets! Welcome to this lovely valley. WINTER: The 'Christlum' ski resort is the largest ski resort in the lake Achensee area. The lifts, slopes, ski-rental and ski school are approx. 0.5 miles away from the house and accesible within walking distance (but attention, including a steep hill on which the house is located) or by a very short car ride for higher convenience. The region lake Achensee has more than 70 miles cross country skiing tracks, the access to 18 miles cross country tracks around the village Achenkirch is less than 500 yards away from the house. SUMMER: A free of charge public beach (on grass, not sand) with changing rooms, 2 beach volleyball fields a lovely playground for children and possibility to hier pedal boats is just 1.5 miles from the house. Achenkirch has a sailing school and offers the possibilty to hire sailing boats (please ask us before booking the house if you want to
