Our stand-alone chalet guarantees absolute privacy. Schönbacher Hof was lovingly renovated using authentic materials only. With an eye for details, the owners created a chalet which has no equal. The cosy living room with its 5 m high ceiling invites you to snuggle up in front of the fireplace and take in the amazing view of the Hohe Salve and the ski runs of SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. Or you look down to the hustle and bustle in Hopfgarten – all this from the living room. Schönbacher Hof was named after the lovely river Schönbach which flows into a small lake directly in front of the house and highlights the idyllic location even more. While having breakfast you can a waterfall which carries the fresh mountain water from higher areas down to the lake. Transport connections to Hopfgarten and Wildschönau are ideal. SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental is only a stone’s throw away. By car it takes you less than one minute to the cable car in Hopfgarten. As our guests you welcome to sign up for the free Ruftaxi which will pick you up from the house and -of course- will bring you back again. The open-plan ground floor provides a sitting area by the fireplace, a modern, fully equipped kitchen, a dining area with 8 seats and a toilet. A separate entrance leads to the basement where you can store your ski gear and boards and where a special heating system will dry your boots and gloves overnight. Apart from that, there is also a washer-dryer combo in the basement. On the first floor you find three bedrooms : „Schönbach“, „Herzbergwerk“ and „Alpenglühn“. Each room provides a double bed and has been lovingly furnished with farmhouse antiques. A large bathroom with floor heating, walk-in rain shower, toilet and twin basin complete the offer. The chalet cat, Bagheera, looks after things from time to time and likes to be fed by our guests. We are therefore unfortunately unable to allow your own pets.
