Welcome to the Schweizerhof am Traunsee!Our idyllic wooden house was built in the 19th century and was taken over by the parents of the present owner - Hannelore Simmer - in 1955 and successively lovingly reconstructed and furnished. It is a piece of history, everywhere you can find old books, nipples and flower decoration. Enter one of the cozy rooms with the romantic names of Salettl, Toscana, Seeblick orGmunderberg you can meet the usual comfort and cosiness in the Salzkammergut.Picturesquely the Schweizerhof is located on the lakeside promenade and who is standing on the wooden balcony of his room, observes the imposing Traunstein with the sleeping Greek, the Reflected in the clear lake, and it is difficult to get away from it. It was not for nothing that the Schweizerhof - and above all the restaurant - was voted the "Schlossplatz" of the popular TV series "Schloßhotel Orth", above all because of the immense warm hospitality.
