My name is Franz and together with my family, I’ve been running our holiday apartments in Gmunden with great joy for over ten years.
Hospitality is truly close to our hearts — we want every guest to feel welcome and at home with us. We’re especially proud to be part of a house that tells a piece of Gmunden’s history: a former hotel from the town’s golden spa era, when nobles and artists spent their summers here.
In my free time, I love exploring the nature around Lake Traunsee — hiking, cycling, or simply enjoying a walk by the lake. I’m always happy to share personal tips on the best viewpoints, hiking trails, and local restaurants.

I’m Franz and I’m delighted to welcome you to our elegant apartment in the heart of Gmunden.
For over ten years, our family has been hosting guests with great passion and attention to detail – always aiming to make every stay truly memorable.
Located at Sparkassegasse 1, the apartment is set in a former hotel from Gmunden’s historic spa and summer retreat era, where the charm of the past still lingers in its preserved architectural details.
Just a few steps away, you’ll find the picturesque old town with cozy cafés, restaurants, and small boutiques. A café right in the building invites you to enjoy breakfast, coffee, or an afternoon Aperol Spritz.
