Welcome to 'Acutterbove,' your tranquil retreat nestled on the serene shores of picturesque Deadmans Beach. This beachfront haven stretches across three levels, 4 bedrooms + sofa bed creating a spacious sanctuary for families. Our 4th bedroom with bathroom is located on the ground floor for easy access. On the upper floor, you’ll find three cozy bedrooms, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. The master and second bedrooms are perfect spots for morning reflections. The heart of the home is on the middle level, featuring an open-plan layout with a fully-equipped kitchen, ample living space, and dining area. Slide open the bifold doors to connect with the natural surroundings on a balcony set up for BBQs. The ground floor provides additional privacy with a fourth bedroom and extra bathroom, ideal for larger families or groups. Essential comforts like a secure lock-up garage and convenient laundry facilities ensure your stay is seamless. Every detail at 'Acutterbove' has been meticulously arranged to harmonize with the environment, ensuring you and your loved ones can truly unwind. Our BBQ is a little finniky - we use the matches to light it up. If the gas bottle is running low you can get it refilled at the straddie road house which you would have passed on your way to the house - maybe pick up the famous Straddie Burger while you're there!

Stradbroke Island, affectionately known as "Straddie", is divided into North and South islands. North Stradbroke, the more popular of the two, features breathtaking coastal walks where one can spot kangaroos in their natural habitat and whales breaching during migration seasons. The island's lakes, including the tranquil Brown Lake and the crystal-clear Blue Lake, are ideal for freshwater swimming and picnicking. The Quandamooka people, the traditional owners, offer cultural tours that provide insights into their heritage and connection to the land.
