The Altitude Apartments are located in the centre of Mount Baw Baw Alpine Village, above the beautiful snow gums and are a great escape year round. The apartments are close to hiking trails in summer and the ski slopes in winter. Altitude Apartment 2 is a self-contained two-bedroom apartment. There is a main bathroom, bedroom 1 has double bed and bedroom 2 has a Tri-Bunk (Double on bottom, single on top) and a small open kitchen, lounge and dining area. Additional Information Altitude Apartments are located adjacent to the Mount Baw Baw dingo enclosure. The dingoes may occasionally “sing” during the day for short periods (around 20 seconds). Winter Only Due to stair-only access (3 flights) these apartments may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations. Winter Access & Transport Information All accommodation during the winter‑season is not accessible by vehicle. Guests must drop their luggage at Carpark 1, then park in Carpark 2 or 3 before walking to their accommodation. Oversnow transport is available for luggage only at an additional cost. This service must be booked in person at the Guest Services building and is only available during Guest Services opening hours. All lodgings are located within the village and are within walking distance. Mount Baw Baw Alpine Resort is open year round for outdoor adventure and activities such as down hill skiing in the winter season (mid June - September), hiking and mountain biking in the summer. In the winter season all visitors are required to carry snow chains for their vehicles. There is a entry fee payable to enter the resort in the winter season, which is booked on the Mount Baw Baw website. There is no entry fee outside of the declared winter season.
