Amaroo House is a unique blend of informal country living with an industrial vibe, perched at the base of Coolangatta Mountain between Berry and Seven Mile Beach. This two-storey luxury home sleeps up to 12 guests (maximum 8 adults and 4 children) across four bedrooms, including an upstairs Queen with ensuite and walk-in robe, a bunk room with trundle for five, a tri-bunk with double and single, and a Queen bedroom opening to the courtyard. The open-plan living area features a comfortable L-shaped lounge with 50-inch TV and Blu-ray, a second lounge around a log burner, a 12-seater dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and Nespresso machine with frother. The back deck provides a dining table and hanging chair, with views of Cambewarra Lookout and Berry Mountain, while outdoors, guests enjoy a large swimming pool, spa, green lawns, mountain bike trails, and commanding views. Pets are welcome on request, and a tenant lives in a separate cottage on the property. Guests can request a prepared AUD 50 cheeseboard on arrival. All linen and bath towels are provided, and the fenced pool requires adult supervision. Firewood is supplied Easter–October or as advised by NSW Rural Fire Service, and bookings on Thursday–Friday or Sunday–Monday nights are charged at the full weekend tariff. From 19 December–27 January, back-to-back bookings are not accepted; guests may be asked to move their booking by one day to accommodate this.
