The house has lovely furnishings and decor, a wood fire stove, and a relaxed, casual & comfortable feel about it. It is only minutes away from Moss Vale town and has a unique kids playground as well as cattle, alpaca and a chicken coop. This eco-luxe home is also totally off the grid - powered by solar - and supplied with beautiful rainwater that is collected on the property. Please note: Strictly no parties at this property. You will be evicted if this rule is broken The property has custom built playground equipment and unfenced dams, and while children are warmly welcomed, they must be supervised at all times Ashby Downs is an off-grid home powered by solar system. It does not have enough capacity to support EV charging. The road to the property is unsealed and after heavy rain it is suggested that an SUV or 4 x 4 is needed. Where will I be? Ashby Downs is located between Moss Vale and Fitzroy Falls. The front gate is 1km from the Mt Ashby Estate and the La Palette Cafe. It is also a very easy drive to the Mali Brae wedding venue. The towns of Moss Vale, Bowral, Robertson, Fitzroy Falls or Burrawang are all within easy driving distance.

The Southern Highlands is a beautiful rural area, located only 2 hours from Sydney. It has pretty countryside, beautiful homes, working dairy farms, vineyards, great golf courses and spectacular national parks. The area caters for all interests as you can explore cafes, restaurants, historical pubs and numerous towns and villages. Or if you are more adventurous, take a beautiful country drive through the rolling hills of the area, explore a waterfall, or do a bushwalk in one of the nearby national parks!
