This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Conveniently located on the Nambucca River in the town of Macksville. Athol's place is a newly renovated iconic house of the town with easy access to boat ramps, pontoon, fishing, kayaking, shops, pubs, club as well as being centrally located between the beaches of Nambucca Heads and Scotts Head which are only a short drive. Coffs Harbour is also only a short 40 minute drive north.
Parking is free and accessible in all areas of the Nambucca Valley. Easy walking from the property around Macksville. Taxi's are available throughout the Nambucca Valley. Buses run at various times to Coffs Harbour and surrounds, see busways timetable. There is also a train station that has a couple of services operated by countrylink.
