The ISLANDER is an exclusive newly renovated 3 bedroom classic beach cottage, interior styled & decorated - a luxurious holiday destination for those looking for a romanic getaway or that perfect escape with friends & family. Only a 5 minute stroll to the beach and the heart of Avalon shops and cafe scene. Relax, unwind and soak up all the coastal vibes.
Charlie (a stonemason) and Kathy (interior and clothing designer) have lovingly renovated the Avalon Beach Cottage and now share their beloved holiday home with you. We have created a simple rustic space with Kathy and Charlie's handcrafted furniture, stunning homewares collected from all over the world and hints of island style decor everywhere. The promise of a simpler life. We live in a seperate home at the rear of the block. We are always available by phone to help and advise guests with any advice needed. Your space is accessed from your own, private front garden and is a freestanding weatherboard cottage.
A quiet corner of North Avalon and 5 minutes walk to the beach. 150 metres to Relish Cafe, Peruvian Burger Shop, Bottle Shop, Beach Without Sand Surf Shop & General Store. Bunker down and stay local. My favourite walk on the northern beaches is just at the end of North Avalon Road. Hike up to the top of Bangalley Headland, the highest point on the beaches with views North to Boudi National Park and South to Sydney CBD. This is a beautiful part of the world. Perfect location with plenty of street parking. The local bus stop is 200 metres down the road. You can catch bus services directly to and from the city.
