An Adults only peaceful retreat and private family wedding venue set in 10 acres of stunning gardens. The property is home to alpacas and abundant bird life. We offer two pet-friendly cottages for visitors with four-legged friends. (additional fee applies) We offer 7 cottages, 4 have private spas, JUST ADDED - twin outdoor baths are a feature of Ibis and Rosella Cottages. Perfect for couples or friends.. Each Jalbrook Cottage features polished wooden floors, stained-glass doors and views over Balingup Brook or the gardens. All offer an outdoor furniture and a living area with a sofa, a SMART TV and a DVD player. All cottages have Free Starlink WIFI. Jalbrook Cottages are located next to the Bibbulmun Track, in the heart of the Blackwood River Valley. It is 3 minutes’ drive from the Balingup town ship. Bunbury and Busselton are each a 1 hours’ drive away.

Since March 2021, Jim and Lynn have been the custodians of Jalbrook. Just like many of the guests they fell in love with the beautiful rammed earth cottages and the peaceful paradise location. An absolute hidden gem in a stunning part of WA. The setting, the cottages with wood burners and spas, whats not to love? A herd of gentle alpacas, abundant birdlife and wildlife on a tucked away 10 acres is the perfect place to escape the pace and stresses of city living. Since purchasing the property there have been many upgrades and improvements to re-energise and update whilst retaining the character loved by our guests. The sympathetic upgrades are designed to appeal to the discerning traveller who loves a trip to the countryside without compromising on their creature comforts with WIFI in all cottages, Nespresso machines and hotel linens. We look forward to welcoming you to Jalbrook.

Book out all 7 cottages for an exclusive break 'Down South' to remember! The only thing for guests to ponder is which unique cottage to choose and where to sit whilst sipping the bubbles. Winter, summer or anywhere in between Jalbrook has something to offer adults of all ages hoping to enjoy the gifts of nature, find time to reconnect with loved ones or friends and to truly escape. A 1km stroll into to town for breakfast or lunch, a scenic drive, or for the more active; mountain biking or a day on the Bibbulmun Track. Jalbrook and Balingup really are very well kept secrets!

Balingup is a beautiful, friendly small village that has some quaint & quirky shops, galleries and cafes. In the heart of the Blackwood River Valley between Donnybrook and Bridgetown it is a wonderful destination to explore all that the region has to offer.
