"Love it, it has everything you need from a city with a small town vibe also. . Favorite spots are Northbridge, Kings Park and south near Fremantle. Every food option available my favorite are the Asian cuisines. Public transport is easy to navigate once i downloaded the transport app. It was overall a positive experience and i recommend exploring Margret river, Rottnest (take seasick pill before boat ride), hire a car and go see places."

"Geraldton is a lovely little town, clean and tidy with a great waterfront. The HMAS Sydney memorial is stunning and a must see. I would also recommend a visit to the Catholic Cathedral and to check out the beautiful baptismal font. I would recommend the Noodlers Noodles in Marine Terrace, huge choice and delicious meals. Skeeters also do a mean butter chicken."

"Busselton has everything without feeling like a busy centre. It is clean, modern, interesting and very friendly. Everywhere we went from Hungry Jacks, Kmart, Kindred Spirits Clothing Boutique, Woolworths, to cafe's and our accommodation hosts we received bright, friendly & efficient service ... it was very much a country feel with friendly people everywhere. My family enjoyed using their bikes to get around and utilised the e-scooters which were fantastic. The beaches are just lovely and the water is crystal clear. There are many places to enjoy a meal and all the facilities you would need. I love the sculptures, paintings and interesting things in and around Busselton. We stayed at Ashdene (house) which was exceptional. It was a fantastic place to holiday with family or as a couple. We are all already planning our next visit. It was our best holiday yet! :o)"

"Albany is a great place to use as a base to explore the south-West of WA. Roughly 4.5hr drive from Perth, Albany is the perfect weekend getaway or why not stay for a while? Lovely drive and plenty of little towns to explore and stretch your legs on the way. Beautiful scenery, particularly the stunning yellow fields (Canola) in Spring time. Discover local attractions such as the natural bridge or the gap along the rugged but picturesque coastline. The ANZAC memorial, or venture off to the Stirling Ranges, or the quaint little town of Denmark. So much to see and do..."

"Exmouth is truly a gem for Western Australia. Full of experiences and especially the ability to interact with the amazingness of the reef and the animals. We went on the whaleshark swim and blown away by the majesty of them. We will be back - need more swimming and interaction with the magnificent creatures there. (manta rays, whales, dugongs). The sunset from the lighthouse and swimming in the beautiful beaches were also a highlight. I really needed another 5 days at least (and we were there for 5 already) Highly recommend.,"

This newly renovated hotel is a gem - primarily because the staff are first class! Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and always eager to assist. We had a minor issue with our fridge, and the staff went above and beyond, offering us an upgrade and bending over backwards to assist. The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was first-rate. Loved the onesie and slippers in the room, and the 9th-floor suite was stunning. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Will definitely be back!

We stayed in a superior beach view room. Ideal for a couple or small family. We cannot praise this resort enough. The room is superbly positioned on the beach with dolphins swimming only 50 metres away! There is everything that you need, a comfy bed, a small kitchen, beach and bath towels, cleaning materials etc. After a long drive from Perth via an overnight in Geraldton, we were really ready for our stay. Monkey mia did not disappoint. We enjoyed a meal in the restaurant and a takeaway meal from the bar, both were generous portions. Sundowner drinks in happy hour were also a must for us. We wished that we had been able to stay for longer.

Almost all of my trips have been to Perth for work, so the time spent there has been limited, and I have tried to make use of any down time to explore a little of the city. I have to say - I love Perth! It has a temperate climate most of the year, the central city is flat enough and compact enough to be able to walk a lot of it, and it has a good network of busses and trains for getting around. Being in an isolated part of Australia, it is self-sufficient: you don't have to look hard to find pretty much anything if you are visiting. There are a lot of eating places in easy walking distance in the central city. A high ratio of them cater for Asian food, which is a change I have noticed since my last visit 6 years ago, but I guess that may reflect a changing demographic. With a bit of looking, I was able to find restaurants not too far away to suit my tastes. The city has a slightly laid back vibe which appeals to me, and I would say that if I ever had to choose somewhere to relocate to, Perth would be high on my list.

We loved the nearby Ningaloo Reef but thought the town, although characterful, could have an upgrade and be presented more attractively. Most of the time we ate at our accommodation, Villa Alora, as the facilities were great. If you have transportation it is easy to get around Exmouth. For us it was all about the activities offered on Ningaloo Reef, kayaking, snorkelling, swimming with the whale sharks.

Haven't been to Geraldton for a number of years so would have liked to have had more time to explore, - next time. Went out to Greenough to see my Father's old house & was pleasantly surprised at the progress there. We ate at Skeetas for breakfast which was very good, nice pleasant staff. We had dinner at Jade House in town which was also very good food. Geraldton is easy to navigate.

I am also Dutch and every time we both were enthousiasts to meet each other. I like to go again but: I just filled in questions to Booking.com Because I only stayed one night at the Clarence motel and am still waiting to get the too much paid money back! it's about time now.
