Originally from England and New Zealand, Brian and Bridget Styles’ journey to Blue Lagoon Resort began in Adelaide, where they were living before regularly holidaying in Cairns. Each visit deepened their love for the region’s stunning scenery, relaxed lifestyle, and year-round tropical climate—until it became clear this was where they wanted to call home. Brian brings decades of experience in the hospitality industry, having owned and operated hotels and restaurants both locally and internationally. His passion for guest experience and operational excellence is at the heart of everything he does. Bridget’s background is in aged care and retirement investments, where she held senior roles as an area manager specialising in sales and business development. Her strong people skills, professionalism, and attention to detail complement Brian’s hospitality expertise perfectly. Together, they knew it was time to combine their talents while embracing the lifestyle they love. As passionate and hands-on managers of Blue Lagoon Resort, Brian and Bridget take pride in creating a welcoming, well-run resort where guests feel relaxed, cared for, and at home. With their children now grown, they are enjoying this exciting chapter of life living and working in beautiful Trinity Beach, sharing the best of the region with visitors from near and far.

We are a small beach-side community with a really great atmosphere. A pretty beach, sheltered from the winds by the headlands at either end. Enough dinning options to suit most tastes as well as a pub overlooking the Coral Sea.
