Box Hill is a 650-acre working farm located just 12km from Esperance, on the road to Cape Le Grand National Park. Surrounded by wide open spaces and natural bushland, the property offers a peaceful off-grid escape where you can truly unwind and reconnect with nature. The farm is home to sheep, while kangaroos and emus regularly roam freely across the property, giving guests a true taste of rural Australian life and wildlife. Designed to operate sustainably, Box Hill is fully off-grid, powered by solar energy and supplied with fresh rainwater. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, simplicity and nature — a unique place to slow down and experience the beauty of Esperance’s countryside.

After returning to Esperance six years ago following years of living and working around the world in luxury resorts, Alex and I are thrilled to welcome you to Box Hill. We’ve poured our heart and soul into creating this space and truly love life on the farm. We wanted to give others the chance to experience the beauty, peace and lifestyle that we enjoy every day. Alex is originally from Brazil and is a passionate surfer, so if you need any advice on beaches, surf, wind, or weather conditions, he’s your go-to. Together, we have extensive local knowledge and are always happy to share recommendations and tips to help you make the most of your stay. We look forward to hosting you and sharing our little slice of the world with you!

Box Hill is ideally situated a close 12km from Esperance town, close enough if you need to grab supplies from the shops but far away enough you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere! The cabins are also situated along the way Cape Le Grand National Park and the famous Lucky Bay Beach. It makes exploring our stunning coast line very easy!
