Good communication with the host, easy to check in and out of. We felt that we had stepped back in time, easy to visualise how families lived in the 1820's. The house is a walk away from everything as it is located on the main street of Richmond....

Beautiful cozy historic cottage in a great location, super close to the town centre and Richmond Bridge. The host JoAnne was friendly and helpful over the phone during the check-in process.

Property was clean the view was beautiful we had all the facilities we needed except the TV did not have a remote so it was a bit awkward when wanting to watch a program and I don't like the skylight but other than that it's a beautiful position...

Loads of character and nice little extra touches like the biscuits and port. Greatly appreciated. Loved having the wood burner too.

I have enjoyed providing accommodation in tasmania for over 25 years. I take pleasure in making our guests holiday experiences enjoyable in our properties Bridge Cottage (Richmond), The Esplanade Kingston Beach = Beachfront (Kingston Beach) and Crabtree River Cottages - Riverfront (Grove in The Huon Valley),
Bridge Cottage is located in Richmond Village, a lovely Georgian Village, overlooking the Historic Richmond Bridge a short walk to all the historic attractions, cafes, restaurants, craft shops etc. A market is held every weekend on the Village Green with local produce to purchase. Bridge Cottage was built by convicts in 1823 the same year as the construction of the Historic Richmond Bridge. There are many wineries located close to Richmond, a golf course for golfers.
