The studio features a generous king-size bed, 65-inch TV, dining table and chairs, two comfortable lounge chairs with coffee table, and a well-appointed coffee station with a microwave, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, Smeg kettle, plates and crockery for light meals. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, while the studio enjoys a serene outlook over lush tropical gardens. Located on the second floor and accessible by lift or stairs, Casa Amelia is privately managed within Ramada Resort Port Douglas. Guests can enjoy resort facilities including a cooled swimming pool with swim-up bar, restaurant, day spa, gym, games room, laundry facilities and free parking. Casa Amelia is just 450 metres from the beach, approximately a 6-minute walk. Macrossan Street is only a 4-minute drive away and can also be reached by local shuttle, bike, or a scenic 45-minute walk. Casa Amelia is hosted by Michela & Alessio, a couple with a shared passion for travel, hiking, camping, cooking and enjoying a good glass of wine. They fell in love with Port Douglas 12 years ago and decided to call this beautiful place home. Since then, they have continued travelling the world, visiting 55 countries and enjoying the opportunity to learn about new cultures and discover beautiful new places. Casa Amelia is their newest boutique accommodation project and the sister property of Casa Papaya.
