Property info

Our beautiful historic building is the most prominent in Paterson. Built between 1897 and 1902 by the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney (CBC) it was used as a branch of the bank until 1978. In 1999 the building was bought by a local builder, who spent six years lovingly restoring and converting it into the CBC Bed and Breakfast and Cafe. After their departure, there was a change of name to Paterson Lodge. Now under new ownership and with a new name, this beautiful building has been re-styled, whilst retaining its wonderful heritage character. Kings and Queens Paterson provides boutique accommodation in the heart of the historic village of Paterson. We enjoy welcoming faces new and old and making everyone feel special.

Paterson is located in the Hunter Valley, 175 kms north of Sydney and just a two hours drive, making it the perfect weekend getaway. An attractive little village on the Paterson River, Paterson is 18 kms north of Maitland and 32 kms south of Dungog, making it a convenient base from which to explore this beautiful region. Kings and Queens Paterson is in the heart of Paterson village, within walking distance of the river, park, pubs, village shops and a number of historic buildings.
