Rivergums Cottage is a bespoke new build offering a tranquil escape with all the creature comforts only 15 minutes from Dubbo. With panoramic views down to the Macquarie River, a timber verandah, enclosed yard and fire pit you have every opportunity to immerse yourself in the great outdoors. Whether you like walking, relaxing, reconnecting with nature or are simply after the ideal base for your event or visit to Taronga Western Plains Zoo, this place has it all. Rivergums is a working farm so be prepared for some close encounters with our furry/wooly friends. Being based on the mighty Macquarie River we also have abundant Australian wildlife (Wallabies, Kangaroos, Goannas, Echidnas) and stunning native birds (Corella, Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, Galah, Eastern Rosella, King Parrot, Kingfisher).
We love sharing the hidden beauty of our place with guests. Early morning and late afternoon is simply stunning. My interests are travelling, my children and walking in nature.
