The Creek Shack has been designed as a private 'Off Grid' experience capturing the natural beauty of the Creek location. The Shack has all the luxury guests have come to expect from a stay at Waterloo Station with peace, tranquility and privacy in mind. Enjoy the warmth and ambience created by the fireplace together with comfy furnishings, linen sheets & luxe towels. With the sounds of the magical Wellingrove Creek together with the bushland and native wildlife, be warned...you will never want to leave. A truly romantic getaway.
I like welcoming & meeting the many visitors to our property. My interests are in historical architecture and preservation of buildings of significance from days gone by in rural landscapes. I have an interest in cool climate gardening and growing our own produce. The day to day running of the cattle, sheep and cropping property is always busy together with welcoming guests for a wonderful stay in the many types of accommodation on offer. I always find time to go wandering around the forever changing creek and hills. It's great to be able to share the experience and to provide a beautiful place for all and future generations to learn and enjoy.
Set in the heart of the Australian bush on a 4000 acre property, 4 hours drive from Brisbane, 3 1/2 hours from the coast. The Creek Shack is located in a very private location on the property. Sitting high above the Wellingrove Creek, the rural setting with abundant wildlife is spectacular. Glen Innes township is 15 minutes drive east from the property. Glen Innes has all amenities. Inverell is a small rural inland city with fabulous shops & cafes.
