Andrea & Keith are the proud owners and hosts of Dalfruin Heritage B&B We have been operating this very popular B&B for 12years. One of the joys for us is meeting our B&B guests, is we can then pass on our knowledge of the aream, which helps our guests make the most of their stay. 2021 has been a different year with the pandamic, guests also want to know that we have everything in place including deep cleaning, we need to do this to protect ourselves, our guests, and our region. The major thing we all want right now is to enjoy a break, and know it is as safe as we can possible make it. Previously they ran a B&B in Mornington, hence they have been looking after people for 20 years, We have outstanding reviews Andrea runs Gippsland Opera, bringing singers from Opera Australia, Vic Opera, i.e. Teddy Tahu Rhodes, Marina Priior,David Hobson, Which explains why our apartments are so stunning, A touch of magic! Sylie Paladino, to perform at Opera By The Lakes with 1,500 people at Nyerimilang Hertiage Park with stunning views of the Lakes and also helps generate tourism for the region. Dalfruin is an Accredited B&B fully registered, and adhering to professional guidelines.
Dalfruin is perfectly situated 10 mins walk to C.B.D. Olympic size swimming pool 6 doors away, Mitchell River is just 3 mins walk, a perfect relaxing place for a picnic or a stroll. Tennis Court, bowling green, in the next street. Bairnsdale golf club 15 mins away. However when considering where to base yourself for a holiday, or a one night stopover, the most imporant thing to remember is.... Bairnsdale is the CBD of East Gippsland the gateway to the region, obviously we have the largest shopping centre, hospital, parks, markets, cinemas, theatre, so many restaurants, cafes, antiques, art galleries, boutiques, very large library, Information Centres, Parks, all things that help us all enjoy a stay away, whilst being able to get to other areas easily and directly. Bairnsdale is only 15 mins to Paynesville and Raymond Island 25 mins to Metung, 30 ins to Lakes Entrance. The doorstep to the Mitchell River, and all the National Parks. Buchanan Caves 60 mins away, The Alps 2 hours away. Dalfruin is on the door step of all these wonderful experiences, and we will help you make the most of your stay, or work stop over.
