Stylish, relaxing and if your idea of a beach holiday is not having to cross one single road to reach the beach ... then we are it! Your own luxury studio accommodation with direct beach access.
Carl and I purchased Drifted Away from the original owners in March 2020 and will continue to run the holiday letting as is. We are looking forward to living in this beautiful part of the North Coast and also to the new adventure ahead. We are both healthy and active, enjoying all the area has to offer and are keen to help others experience it too. We have begun travelling more extensively now our children have flown the coop and have backgrounds in agriculture, education and electronics. We are pretty easy going, but are selective about who stays with us. We will keep to ourselves whilst you're here, but will be available if you need local knowledge and tips for having a great stay.
Valla Beach is a place for those seeking solitude. Miles of unspoilt beaches provide the perfect setting for slow leisurely walks and exploring interesting landforms, including a cave, basalt headlands and low tide rock pools. It is a picturesque village that offers a couple of modern cafes, small general store, a tavern, butcher shop and real estate agent. Valla Beach is well known for its great surf, fishing, dolphins and humpback whales during their migrations season north and south. Fantastic diverse local markets are held on the first Sat in even months from Feb - Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct and Dec.
