I have spent many years travelling the world, through over 170 countries. Periodically (when home and time permitting), I invite guests into my home to see a collection of over 1,000 artefacts collected from all over the world. Guests are lead on a virtual trip around the world detailing the significance of many of the objects. Also being a professional pianist (having played piano all over the world), the night finishes with a live piano performance. Nearly all guests rate this experience as being the highlight of staying at Echuca Gardens. Your "second host" Jetta is an adorable, very friendly resident German Shepherd who will escort you to your rooms.

Property info

Echuca Gardens is centrally located adjoining state forest and within walking distance to the river, historic port and town centre. It consists of 4 options; The gypsy wagon/chalets (1-2 persons) are a reproduction of travelling wagons during the 19th century. Measuring 6.5x2metres, they have a kitchenette, small lounge and en-suite bedrooms (double beds). The 1 bedroom apartment (1-2 persons) has a full kitchen, lounge, dining and separate en-suite bedroom with a QS bed and a private Asian garden. The 2 bedroom apartment/guesthouse (3-4 persons) is located upstairs and has a full kitchen, dining, lounge and outdoor balcony overlooking gardens. Each bedroom has queen sized beds with en-suite. The 3 bedroom cottage (5-8 persons) is a fully restored woodcutters cottage from 1869. It has a large spacious lounge, dining and full kitchen. The 3 bedrooms comprise of one double bedded room, one with 4 bunks and the 3rd with twin bunks. There are 2 bathrooms and a large backyard garden. Please note pets are permitted in all units, but ONLY with approval prior to booking. Due to being in a cul-de-sac, there is no parking (either on or off site) for any trailers, boats or caravans. PLEASE NOTE-check in is not possible till after 4pm.

Echuca Gardens is located at the end of a col-de-sac, adjoining state forest leading to the river (10 mins), historic port (20 mins) and town centre (10 mins). It is 3 minutes walk to 2 corner stores (basic provisions), and 10 minute walk to a large supermarket (2 minute drive). It is in a quiet residential area.
