Your studio apartment. Walk out the front gate, turn right to Fremantle, turn left to the beach and turn around to enjoy South Terrace with its array of local cafes and restaurants. The separate/ self-contained studio is perfect for one or two people, whether you are here for a holiday or for business travel. The room is very quiet and private, yet it is close to all that Fremantle has to offer. We are on Marine Terrace right mid-way between the main centre of Fremantle and wonderful South Beach. Just a 10 minute walk either way. The studio is up a flight of stairs, accessed from the rear of our house. It has a large living/bedroom area, with a separate bathroom and kitchenette. The room is light and airy, with quality curtains providing light block-out for your nightly sleep. French doors open to a Juliette balcony with views of the local neighbourhood. (please note: A Juliette balcony or French balcony is a shallow railing or balustrade installed on the exterior of an upper-story window or door that opens inward, offering the look of a balcony without a walk-out deck, providing fresh air, light, and a connection to the outdoors where a full balcony isn't feasible.) The queen bed is of resort style comfort with quality linen. This is a large room with a four-seater white wicker cane setting to view the television or to relax in comfort during your stay. There is free street parking along Marine Terrace.

Myself (Sherryl) and Pat live in the house at the front of the studio. We are long time local Fremantle people and are blessed to live in such a great location. We enjoy travelling ourselves and know how lovely it is to stay somewhere that is comfortable, safe and close to many local ammenities. You can be left to your own devices or I am more than happy to offer assistance, advice and share local information if required. As mentioned, The Fremantle Local Beach Studio is a self-contained area to the rear of our home. You are welcome to make use of the shaded courtyard, with outside facilities, including table and chairs, outdoor kitchen and barbecue area.

The Fremantle Local Beach Studio is within walking distance to the centre of Fremantle, South Beach and a range of local cafes, eateries and pubs. The walk into Fremantle takes about 10 minutes, along the walk path that goes along the beach front and Fishing Boat harbour to the famous Little Creatures brewery and fish and chip restaurants on the Fishing boat harbour. Fremantle also offers free bicycle hire, at the Fremantle Visitor Centre. You can cycle around the streets of Fremantle and then explore the stretch of bicycle paths along the coast to experience the pretty bays all the way to Woodman Point and beyond, or in the other direction along the riverside towards East Fremantle.
