With panoramic views of the lake and the majestic Dial Range, the two domes sit comfortably within the natural environment. Close to the seaside village of Penguin, you can enjoy a coffee by the sea, peruse the local boutique shops or dine in at the local restaurants. Gleneagle Tasmania glamping is simply an all-seasons affair, as nourishing and appealing in the off-season as it is with the abundant blossoms of Spring, together with a picture perfect variety of native and specimen trees bathing in the temperate climate of north western Tasmania.

Our adults only luxury dome accommodation, Gleneagle Tasmania, is nestled amongst native eucalypt forests and the rich basalt soils of Tasmania’s North West. On a 46 hectare property, you’ll find enchantment in every step. From our iconic yellow door that reveals the beautiful lake and discreet gullies to large man ferns growing along creeks and waterways. Here natural bushland brings with it a sense of restoration and a greater admiration for the natural wonder that spreads across our magical Isle. Both our domes Fir's End and Wollemi Rise have been thoughtfully designed to enhance the natural and luxury experience including a beautiful outdoor bath at both domes. Stargazing at night or bird spotting by day while enjoying a long, hot bath and taking in spectacular views of the lake and forest. A highlight for all our guests. Experience the best of our local attractions. Only one hour and twenty minutes drive the iconic Cradle Mountain should be at the top of your list. Here there are options for short enchanted walks or multi-day hikes! Be sure to check the weather report before heading out and to have appropriate gear if you are taking on a long walk. If you’re after a bit of variety close by head to the seaside village of Penguin only 10min away, you can enjoy a coffee by the sea, peruse the local boutique shops or dine in at the local restaurants. Explore the stunningly wild (and easily accessible) Leven Canyon with a guided tour of Gunns Plains Cave along the way. Encounter a devil or two and a wide range of animals at Wings Wildlife Park a short twenty minute drive and close to both Leven Canyon and the Caves. Stanley is just one hour and twenty minutes drive with great food and scenery both at destination and along the way. Wynyard and Boat Harbor are worth a visit off the main road. Blue Hills Honey is another great place to visit as well. From Gleneagle you can also take a journey to Waratah and return via the scenic Hellyer Gorge. Sheffield, the town of murals, has much to offer and only a picturesque fifty minute drive with many return route options. Theses are just a few of our favorite's, with so much more to explore!!
