We pride ourselves in our attention to detail, and nothing is too much trouble for our guests! Whether it be a simple break or a special occasion, we can create an itinerary just for you. We can arrange in-house massages, indulgence packages, food and wine tours, restaurant reservations and local activities such as horse riding, heli-tours, flightseeing and hot air ballooning. Whether it be a special occasion, or the special occasion is your visit to the Hunter Valley, we can help make it a memorable one! PLEASE NOTE: The Cottage and Homestead must be left as you find them. Credit cards will be kept on file and any damage caused or extra cleaning required will be billed to the booker's card. A minimum 2 couple/4 adult tariff applies in the Cottage for NEW YEARS EVE PERIOD and ALL event weekends, including Day on the Green, Jazz in the Vines and Opera in the Vineyards concerts. A special rate applies to all Cottage and Homestead stays during Christmas and New Year’s periods, from 23rd December - 2nd January inclusive, as does a 3 night minimum during this time. A 2 couple/4 person tariff minimum also applies to all Cottage bookings that fall over the New Years Eve period.

Absolutely private and picturesque, Goosewing Cottage is located in stunning Mount View, nestled in the mountains above Pokolbin within the prettiest part of Hunter Valley wine country. Our Homestead and Cottage are fully self-contained, architect-designed, eco-friendly and immaculately presented. Positioned high in a natural bushland setting with awe-inspiring views of the Brokenback Ranges, we are surrounded by neighbouring farms and lush, rolling pastures and are home to an abundance of native wildlife. Have coffee with the cows or enjoy a wine with the wallabies, yet remain in close proximity to the Hunter Valley’s finest cellar doors, restaurants and attractions. Stay in, enjoy a stroll or a picnic on the property and relax on the gazebo by the dam, or venture out. Delight in the convenience of door-to-door coach transfers for all exclusive Hunter Valley events, including Day On The Green concerts. Enjoy the food and wine trail, with award-winning vineyards such as Peterson’s and Briar Ridge, and world class restaurants including the wonderful AGFG’s chef-hatted Bistro Molines, just a stone’s throw away.

Goosewing Cottage is located in Mount View, the jewel of the Hunter Valley wine-making region. We are in a private and secluded area on the main tourist trail between the heart of Pokolbin (a 10-15 minute drive) and the historic township of Wollombi (a 20 minute drive). We are only a two hour commute from Sydney, an hour from Newcastle and less than 5 minutes to award-winning restaurants and cellar doors. Enjoy the Hunter Valley's glorious food and wine trail, with award-winning local vineyards such as Peterson's and Briar Ridge, as well as world class restaurants including the wonderful AGFG's chef-hatted Bistro Molines, just a stone's throw away.
