The breakfast provisions were lovely, fresh, and just right:) The location is excellent, we enjoyed walking around Greenock, and especially enjoyed lunch at the Greenock Pub, the food and menu were outstanding.

An excellent self contained cottage with everything you would need. A good location... quiet except for the early morning traffic. A nice garden, ideal for reading a book in the sun

Delightful cottage, very handy to the Northern end of the Barossa Valley wineries and to the Lower Light area. Easy walking distance to the local pub, craft brewery and several cellar doors. The backyard was completely contained so we could leave...

Telegraph Cottage
The Old Telegraph Station cottage is a genuine part of the town's history, but despite the age of the building the amenities are modern. Imagine living here in the days of the original telegraph station operator, with his large family of seven children - and that was prior to the addition of the sunroom and bathroom extensions. Because you get exclusive use of this stand alone building you won't be disturbed by others. Sit and relax and listen to the many birds that come to drink at the bird bath.
Greenock is a quiet village soaked in history. There are two award winning wineries within walking distance of the cottage - Murray Street Vineyards and Kalleske Wines. Next door to Telegraph Cottage is Greenock brewery, across the road is the local pub serving great meals. The recreation park is across the road and is ideal for kids or dogs. Reilly's winery is a few doors up from Telegraph Cottage and is well worth a visit too. History abounds, and a Greenock walk brochure in the cottage (or from the post office) will guide you. More Barossa wineries, restaurants and attractions are just a short drive away on good sealed roads
