Haven on High combines historic charm with modern comforts, perfect for guests who want to immerse themselves in a rejuvenating space that is wholly and authentically Tasmanian. The 145-year-old heritage-listed church contains striking architectural features including intricate stained-glass windows, a high vaulted ceiling, and beautifully restored hardwood floors.
I am a travel enthusiast, sports fanatic, and bookworm based in Tasmania and Melbourne, Australia. I also love unique architecture, and this passion led to becoming the proud owner of a heritage-listed church and adjoining mudbrick cottage. Sharing these spaces with guests brings me great joy. I love getting to know the wide variety of people who visit Campbell Town and Tasmania, and I will gladly share my recommended shops, restaurants, activities and travel tips with you.
Campbell Town is a quaint country town with all the modern conveniences needed by travelers. With tourists and locals alike passing through each day, the town centre caters to all sorts of visitors, with multiple coffee shops, specialty shops, parks, an IGA, petrol, and everything else you need to enjoy your visit in comfort. Located in the centre of the state, Campbell Town is a great base camp for day trips to any of Tasmania's many attractions.
