Situated in the Upper Hunter, on a bend of the beautiful Allyn River, Serendipity on Allyn is a unique haven from the hustle & bustle of city life. No mobile phones or internet - just the peace & serenity of our special hideaway where you can just chill out with a good book & re-charge the batteries. Go for a drive around the local area, to enjoy the stunning wilderness scenery of the Barringtons, or the picture postcard vistas of 'quaint' Dungog. This is the ideal spot for that romantic interlude or to celebrate that special moment, in the tranquil & relaxing atmosphere of Serendipity on Allyn.​​ The rooms are set within the grounds of the old Allynbrook School, with lawns & gardens to enjoy. They offer self-contained accommodation, all with private areas within the gardens. Serendipity shares it's little corner of paradise with the historic St Mary's Church with many old monuments & headstones, dating back to the early 1800s.
