Luxury rooms, most with ensuites and right on the canal. Amazing views of the mountains in the background and the sunsets that go with it. This is a lodge not a motel. It is 2 single buildings specifically designed for accommodation purposes not a house that was built to live in and rented out as accommodation. The walls, ceiling and between upstairs and downstairs are all sound proofed to make your sat as private as possible. Although you don't get your own outside entrance like a ground floor motel, most rooms have their own bathroom, all have their own tv and locked doors for security. There is a shared lounge, dinning and kitchen area to socialize or have meals. All other motels in town are on the main highway but we aren't. We are on a canal about 5 mins from town and far enough off the highway to not get the traffic noise or the noise from trains rolling through at all hours of the night. Instead we have a lot of wallabies hopping around and many species of birds to listen to. Then of cause the sound of big fish splashing on the canal. If you require a ground floor, own front door room then please find a motel. If your after the most luxurious, peaceful and scenic place to stay in Cardwell then please come and experience it for yourself.

beautiful seaside town with plenty of waterfalls, walking tracks, fishing etc to do. We are in a really quiet spot with very little traffic. We have a really safe area where we are and very little to worry about except relaxing. Whether your traveling for work, passing thru or here for a holiday, The peacefulness and amazing views will help to enrich your time here to fully recharge for the next days adventures.
