In 2021, we made a life-changing decision to escape the fast-paced city life of inner Brisbane and embrace the serene beauty of the hinterland. Accompanied by our beloved 10-year-old daughter and my father, we embarked on a new chapter of our lives. Motivated by our yearning for a more self-sufficient lifestyle and the freedom to work from the comfort of our own surroundings, we undertook the ambitious endeavour of constructing cabins on our land. The journey was a lengthy one, spanning 2.5 years, but the end result even exceeded our expectations. Now, as we gaze upon our completed endeavour, we can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of satisfaction. The cabins stand as a testament to our perseverance and dedication. About this space Welcome to our three luxurious cottages, located on the doorstep of Mapleton Falls National Park on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. All designed with their own unique ambiance & style. Each exclusive cottage features open plan design with a luxurious king size bed, romantic gas fire place, intimate 2-person bathtub with dimmable mood lighting throughout. Having a car in this area is highly recommended. There are many different types of walks in the area once you get here. The closest walk (which does not require a car) is at your door step – Mapleton Falls National Park. The park covers an area of approximately 52 hectares and is home to a stunning waterfall, rainforest, and a variety of flora and fauna. The park also features several short walking tracks, ranging from easy strolls to more challenging hikes. The Picnic Creek Circuit is a popular 1.3km walk that takes visitors through lush rainforest and past a small waterfall, while the Wompoo Circuit is a 1.8km walk that offers stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding countryside. In addition to the walking tracks, the park also offers picnic areas with barbecues, toilets, drinking water & free parking, making it a great place to spend a day exploring and enjoying the outdoors.
