INDOORS 🛌The bedrooms each have a queen size bed. 🛌Air-con will keep you cool in the summer month 🍳 Full kitchen including oven and gas stovetop, microwave, full fridge/freezer, kettle & toaster. 🚿 Brand new bathroom 🌴OUTDOORS Enjoy your morning coffee on the patio deck whilst listening to the birdsong and watch the pademelons come by in the late afternoon while having a BBQ. 🚘GETTING AROUND We are only a short 10 min drive from Kuranda village centre, or a less than 5 mins to Speewah Tavern. ★"Honeybee House is a beautiful little cottage for a quiet stay. It's secluded enough that you could easily stay in and have a private getaway but also close enough to local attractions to make the trip. The house is well equipped with everything needed for a weekend away." ★ Please be aware that this is a rainforest experience. There will be insects, bats, noisy birdlife & rainforest creatures in the night. It is advised to leave doors or screens closed, especially at night when lights are on. There are absolutely no pets allowed on this property due to the unique native life.

Neighborhood info

Speewah is part of the Kuranda region and consists of rural residential acreage properties. I love living here, the people are great and the weather is cooler than on the coast. Kuranda offers people lots to see and do. Our favourite Kuranda eateries are Petit Cafe and Frogs Restaurant. Please feel free to ask me for recommendations on things to see and do.
