At Just Relax you overlook your own patch of paradise, Boat Harbour Beach from the deck chair, the open plan living space - couch and kitchen bar. The shack sits along the quieter section of white sand, a short walk from the surf club; bar and café where live music cranks into late summer afternoons. Volcanic black stone rock pools offer children a natural playground and the easterly swells roll in, luring local board riders all through the year. Just Relax has contemporary coastal charm, stylish fixtures, and mod cons and can sleep 6 people comfortably. There are two bedrooms in the main upstairs level with a double facing seaward and a bunk room, complete with TV/DVD set-up. The open plan living space includes a day bed, but for the families with older kids, the parent retreat will appeal. A downstairs apartment with an ensuite also houses the laundry, a second story deck with a barbeque nook and surfboards (among other found treasures).

Just Relax and see the Wonders of Wynyard while you’re close by and swoon over the vintage car collection on-site. Be guided by visitor experts into the spectacular Tarkine and then treat yourself to a top shelf dining experience at Hellyers Distillery. Boat Harbour Beach is a tiny hillside hamlet, about a 10 minute drive from Wynyard. It’s a stone’s throw from Rocky Cape National Park and if you follow the coast on foot around to the west, you’ll find the beginning of the walk trail through to Sisters Beach and beyond (take note of the signage, it can be challenging for some, with rock- hopping on the way). There is lots to explore, or you can just relax! Many like to fish off the rocks and explore the aquatic life alongside the point, snorkelling or on kayak. Dolphins are regular visitors and whales are becoming a more common sight in the latter half of the year. It can be like a swimming pool some days and a surfer’s paradise the next. Just relax and take it in from the eagle’s view of your own beach nest! The Burnie/Wynyard Airport have hire car facilities if you’re flying in from “the mainland” so you can just relax, knowing everything is taken care of.
