The house was built in 1910 and it is standing very strong considering it’s been around for almost 120 years old! We lived in the house whilst we renovated so there’s a lot of love that’s been poured into the walls. Once it got too small for us, we have moved out but we didn’t have the heart to sell the Home and so we’ve decided to list it as a short-term rental. It’s a three bedroom cottage or three bedrooms. Have a nice view out to the garden. The property is fully fenced in case you do have a pet. (Or small children). The gate can be closed using a latch.
This is our second farmhouse cottage that we have had the privilege of listing as a short-term rental. The cottage has been fully renovated and a lot of love has been poured into the house. It’s a 1910 farmers cottage. There is a small deck at the rear and also at the front of the house where you can sit and enjoy the morning sunrise with a coffee and observe the garden and birds. The house itself is in a quiet area of Korumburra. It is 20 minutes drive to Inverloch 25 minutes. Drive to Wonthaggi 10 minutes drive to Leongatha and 10 minutes drive to Loch. Korumburra is an excellent place to base yourself if you intend to visit Wilsons Promontory - which we absolutely recommend! If you have a dog, please yell out. We’re happy to host in our dog room outside on the balcony. Parking is free we can fit multiple vehicles both in the driveway and at the front of the property. We can sleep up to 6 in the cottage. If you require a cot, please yell out. All linen and towels are provided. We provide a simple breakfast also. Any questions please don’t hesitate to yell out!
Korumburra is a lovely small rural town. There is an IGA located two minutes drive away. The property is a short 15 or so minute stroll away from the cottage if on foot. Within in town we have two pubs a brewery with Woodfire pizza, there’s a lovely Japanese restaurant Indian restaurant and Chinese restaurant. If you would like some specific recommendations please yell out we have a list of our favourite places nearby and also a little further a field!
