The location and the actual accommodation are excellent. Its quiet at this time of year (June) which we prefer and we enjoy the outdoors regardless of the weather.

After dislocating my shoulder and feeling pretty sorry for myself, my remaining week in Tasmania was made lovely thanks to Alex and the LSCL staff. There are some perks to booking more than 3 nights (maybe? Enquire within, or surprise yourself)....

Very conveniently located and it was nice to have breakfast included. It’s within the park so you can hike as soon as you get out of bed.

Breakfast was included and was very good. The location is of course remote and beautiful. The room was excellent, well appointed and had a terrific gas fire.

From the minute we checked in, Alex - the concierge - went out of his way to make us feel incredibly welcome and make our stay extra special. The room was so warm on arrival with the fire going and the bed configuration just as requested.

Cute cabins on a beautiful lake, with a great bar/restaurant to keep you warm on the colder nights. It was nice to have a place to stay on our 1 night stopover at this beautiful location on our lap of Tasmania.
