Located in the beautiful village of Burrawang and only a short walk to the award winning Burrawang Village Hotel, Lark cottage offers a relaxing and romantic retreat, allowing you to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The cottage is open plan and is perfect for both couples and family groups looking for a country escape. The cottage offers 3 bedrooms, the main with a king bed and parents retreat, the second a double bed, and the third a double bed with single bunk above. All beds have quality linen and electric blankets for the colder nights so common in the highlands. The sofa in the sun room converts to a double bed should further bedding be required. The kitchen is equipped with all the conveniences you would expect, including a dishwasher, microwave oven, electric stove and cooktop and a Nespresso coffee machine and pods. The open plan layout makes it easy for groups to be together, whilst offering enough private spaces and reading nooks should you desire peace and quiet. The slow combustion fire provides both warmth and atmosphere, with firewood supplied. The reverse cycle air-conditioner compliments the wood burner and will keep you warm.

We live in Sydney but love to escape to the Highlands as often as possible to enjoy the peace and solitude of Lark Cottage. We're both keen runners and the Southern Highlands has some amazing trails. The area is also not short on great wineries - definitely worth checking out a few during your stay.

Burrawang is a beautiful little village in the heart of the Highlands. The Village Inn and General Store are great meeting places and the local butcher is legendary. Close to Bowral and Moss Vale but far enough away to really feel that you're in the country
