Our property is the first house you see and drive past in Venus Bay. It has double glazing throughout and thick insulation to prevent noise and heat/cold. The views across the corner outlook, gives you farmland and a huge expanse. With the path across the road, which leads into Tarwin Lower, we use it for walks and bike rides. a short 3.5km to the Supermarket, no need for the car, for a quick shop.
We love to spend time just relaxing and soaking up the outdoors. We use our bikes regularly on the path across the road, and also plenty of walks for us and our dog. We enjoy early morning swim sessions with locals, which can have from 2-40 people venturing into the ocean at Beach 5, around 8.30am. We enjoy games nights, or a quiet sit around the fire, during winter, or beautiful BBQs in the warmer months.
The dog beach isn't far away, which allows for lead and off leash time, for the well-trained dogs. The General Store is only 1.1km up the path, which is stocked for everything you might need, and another 1km to Beach 1 for a quick dip or walk. There are 5 Beaches at Venus Bay, and they are aptly named Beach 1, to Beach 5. Kayaking on the local river is a must do, and there is a boat launching ramp, at Fishermans Rd, or back into Tarwin Lower also. Playgrounds all around the Bay, and plenty to see or do. Bike riding on the Great Southern Rail Trail, Foster to Fish Creek-12km, Meeniyan to Koonwarra-8km, and always a bite to end before you return.
