This bright and cosy cottage feels like home with heart stopping mountain views of Mt Field, Mt Mawson and Tyenna Peak. There's a well equipped and spacious kitchen and undercover BBQ facilitates. Mt Field National Park is 10min away and the house is just a 1 min ride is Maydena Bike Park. So much for hikers and bikers to do, so close. We've been renovating over the winter and hope you enjoy the new additions as much as we do. New kitchen and bathroom coming next.

We live on the Far South coast of NSW and are mad about mountain biking in Tasmania. Spending time living in Maydena for three months this year has given us a taste for the magic of the peaks and valleys of the South-West Wilderness.

The house is situated on a large sunny block on a quiet street. There's a Post Office and the FICA cafe around the corner which sell last minute groceries and sweet treats. The bike cafe is great for coffee with all day restaurant serving pizza and drinks. If you need groceries or shops New Norfolk has everything you need, 45min back down the mountain. There is a nice cafe at the Mt Field National Park and a coffee house on the way down called the Possum Shed.
