Meander Retreat is a small property in the Eden Valley area of the Barossa, quietly situated among pasture and vineyards studded with mighty red gums. The guest suite is designed for comfort and a sense of easy luxury, with vaulted ceilings, a huge bathroom, deep bathtub, fully equipped kitchen, huge picture windows and a spacious sitting area with dining table and Smart TV. Parking is immediately alongside. Outside in the gardens are various seating areas, BBQ facilities and a large garden. Breakfast provisions include a well-stocked fridge and pantry so that you can prepare your own at your leisure, with much of the produce from the farm.
I'm Evelyn and I've planted the gardens, built the house and harvest the produce from my small property. I love sharing this lovely part of the world with guests and ensuring they get a taste of supremely comfortable country living.
Meander Retreat is at the outer edge of the Barossa Region in the 'higher' altitude of the Adelaide Hills, so it's quieter and prettier than the Barossa Valley itself. There are a couple of houses nearby and the property is accessed off the main road between the two villages, Springton and Eden Valley, so while it's not exactly secluded, you'll feel you have a wide area to yourself. Both Springton and Eden Valley have a pub, but the.most popular activities are walking the local trails and visiting the numerous cellar doors in the region.
