Mondurup Escape Homestead provides private room style accommodation. Where guests provide their own food. The spacious house is perfect for individuals, couples or large groups. Driving, look for the Mondurup Escape sign, down the gravel driveway and over a creek crossing (suitable for all vehicle types). Follow driveway along the front of the house and up the hills, guest parking located to the west of the house. All information is in an email sent out a day before arrive. In try country style, you enter through the mudroom and into the fully equipped kitchen. Welcomed by the warm, farmhouse charm, the huge open plan living is made up of lounge and television, 8 set dining table and wood fire. A reverse cycle air conditioner is available too. Clean and comfortable, 3 bedrooms, each with private ensuites and lockable door. Downstairs Master bedroom is large, the French doors opening out on to the enclosed veranda, views of the Stirling Range and gardens. Heading up stairs there is an office/desk space. Upstairs Double Loft and Twin Loft rooms, to the left and right. Each room has loft style ceiling, creating a cozy and intimate feel. Small ensuite, sitting chairs, television and comfy beds await. The Cellar/enclosed veranda showcases Mondurup Escape’s produce. Wine is available to purchase (by appointment) and a display of what the farm produces. Finally, the beautiful deck area. Breathtaking views out over the Stirling Range and vineyard. With plenty of setting, makes for a perfect place to unwind. Outside, guests are encouraged to wander the grounds, vineyard and creek. Explore the gardens, beautiful trees and lawned areas. Spot birds and local wildlife. The pet sheep are always waiting for a scratch.

Mondurup Escape is a small, family run business, hoping to promote what their region has to offer and share this hidden gem with you! You will find David, the owner, on the tractor in the vineyard, his wife Jacqui, in the garden, their son Darcey, fixing something, and his wife Jess, cleaning or chasing after their two young boys. We enjoy meeting new travelers, creating memorable stay and indulge in a glass of wine.

Kendenup is a small country town. With its rural location, guests can experience quiet and a chance to slow down. Mondurup Escape is 2km from Kendenup. The charming General Store provides freshly baked bread, coffee and the basics. The playground, nature-based playground and skatepark will help entertain the kids. Dogs can exercise on the oval or golf course. Wildflowers to be found along the walk track parallel with the railway track. Put Stirling Range National Park and Porongurup National Park on the to do list. Mount Barker is 20 minutes away. With most of your stores including large IGA store, chemist and hospital.
