As a tourist destination The Entrance is a hot spot for tourists who visit there annually to enjoy the magnificent beaches, superb water views, excellent fishing, soft sea breezes and much sought after temperate climate. The layout of the town lends itself beautifully to family strolls, with a string of wonderful alfresco cafes and restaurants, parks and entertainment. Memorial Park, located on the foreshores of the Tuggerah Lake and 30 seconds from Nesuto The Entrance , is a haven for family activities. Entertainment is provided on weekends and during school and public holidays and Vera's Water Garden has become an instant hit with the children playing in the water park cooling off. The area is also known for its huge pelican population, and every day at 3.30pm, rain, hail or shine the pelicans assemble for feeding at a special pavilion in Memorial Park which is within minutes of the property.
