On the Deck @ Shark Bay is a unique custom designed B&B which is located to make the best of natures sights while protecting guests from the harsh elements of the outback. It is central to all points of interest and is a great base from which to explore or simply stay and have a very relaxing holiday. On the Deck has been constructed to face north overlooking a large area of natural desert scrub, including Francois Peron National Park and the Marine Park. It is NOT located in the main town centre (1.2km away) which faces the southerly winds which can be quite strong and unpleasant at times.

Our favourite leisure activities are enjoying the waters of Shark Bay World Heritage Marine Park, fishing, crabbing, watching the wildlife and swimming. We also love the unspoilt beauty of Shark Bay and a beer and spa on the Deck while watching the sunset.

Shark Bay ranks as one of our planet’s most important wilderness regions, where the nature exceeds all expectations with an amazing range of experiences. To put it in perspective it is one of only 22 places in the world which meets all four selection criteria for "Natural" World Heritage selection.
